Device Recovery Vault (IMEI Storage)
Device identifiers you save in the Recovery Vault (IMEI, serial number) are encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM with a key derived from your vault password via PBKDF2-SHA-256 (600,000 iterations). Only the ciphertext, initialization vector, salt, and a last-4-digit mask are transmitted to and stored on our servers. We cannot decrypt your IMEI or serial numbers — recovery requires your vault password. You can delete any stored device record at any time; deletion is permanent.
